Tej
Meet Tej. He’s half Indian and half Indiana (where his mom is from) and was raised in sunny California. He grew up close to his grandparents, who connected him to his Indian culture and heritage. He is currently studying Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Science at UBC and also works on a farm! He works in the fields and also does soil laboratory studies in their agronomy lab. Fun fact – Tej plays 10 different instruments, including but not limited to : saxophone, tablas, accordion, and flute. He aspires to be a successful boundary-pushing artist, creating the most “off-the-wall” music. Also, he wants to have his own farm that utilizes ancient biological connections to feed his community in a sustainable way.
