Meet Shelby. She’s a 3rd generation Vancouverite, ethnically European, has been married for 34 years, and is the proud parent of her 2 adult children. She’s the co-founder of Supercrush, a hair accessories brand created with her daughter in 2018 and says the company is her biggest accomplishment to date. A lover of fitness and travel, her favourite pre-covid trip was cycling through the Burgundy region with her sister. She also enjoys yoga, walking, and her favourite place is the desert, the beach, or anywhere sunny. Her family and friends tease her for being the dispenser of random kernels of wisdom, such as; “it’s not your responsibility to make the wind blow; it’s your responsibility to raise the sails in case it does”. That’s something we can all learn from.
