Korey

Meet Korey. He was born in Jamaica, hopped over to Florida, then New York, then landed in New Jersey where his parents still reside. He studied at Parsons then dove into the fashion industry, working in NYC for 18 years before relocating to Vancouver. His down time might be spent cycling around the city to stay grounded, creating fashion illustrations and figurative drawings, or having a solo dance party. His soul-food is Jamaican chicken pumpkin soup and a guilty pleasure dish is a take-out order of Phnom Penh’s chicken wings on a Friday night. His favourite place (so far) is Edinburgh, Scotland. The history, lore, ghosts, castles, unwieldy landscape….AND, it’s like being in a Harry Potter film.
