Judianne

Meet Judianne. She is an Indigenous artist, photographer, mother, and published scholar. She is the daughter of a chief and residential school survivor, so leadership and strength are two of her greatest inherited attributes. She recently graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is working towards a masters degree focusing on artistic processes. In her spare time you can find her vigorously painting large abstract pieces on canvases, teaching herself french, or on a spontaneous adventure shooting film for one of her ongoing projects. Her simple pleasures include: slow mornings, dark chocolate, ambient music, and lake swims with her son.
